Denver-based bluegrass band Morsel playing free show in Buffalo

BUFFALO, Wyo. – Saturdays in the Square, a free summer concert series in Buffalo, will return on Saturday, July 23 from 2 to 9 p.m. in Crazy Woman Square. Four artists will take the stage throughout the day including Morsel, a five-piece jamgrass band from Denver, Colorado; Sarah Carper, a country/folk artist from Casper; Jordan Smith, a singer/songwriter from Lander; and Buffalo’s own Gabriel the Bull. The event is free and open to the public.

Kat’s Catering, Bond’s Brewing and Un’Wine’d will have food and drinks available for purchase. Attendees will have the opportunity to enter a raffle to win a Yeti cooler courtesy of Century 21 BHJ Realty with proceeds benefiting Saturdays in the Square.

Saturdays in the Square is run entirely by volunteers with the nonprofit group Lobban Street Music. The series was started in 2018 to bring more live music opportunities to residents and visitors of Buffalo. Since then, Saturdays in the Square concerts have featured nationally and internationally touring bands from around Wyoming, Montana, Colorado and New Zealand, and showcased many local artists, including from Buffalo, Gillette, Sheridan and Big Horn. The series has also been the recipient of thousands of dollars in local sponsorships and two Wyoming Arts Council grants.

“We are so thankful for the community support that keeps these concerts free for our community,” said Dustin Hill, president of Lobban Street Music. “Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy top-notch live music in our beautiful backyard.”
